Are you young enough to remember tea cards ?!? One was given away free with a packet of tea; there were about 50 in a set and they included a portrait and about 200 words of detail; enough to inform, easily remembered and even more importantly maybe to whet the appetite for more reading..
White On Black Publishing specialises in a series of A6 quality pocket books in the "Tea Card" genre with about 60 items in a subject group and with full colour portraits / pictures to match.
Whilst looking at designs and typesetting styles, David Thorp came up with the innovative white text on black background; hence "White on Black" was born.
Having been interested in UK history, the Author noted that there was not an A6 book of British Prime Ministers in existence, hence the first in the WoB style was published in November 2017. This was followed by Kings and Queens of England and Britain published late 2018.
Look out for new titles this year !
